AHF is recognized as an Essential Service by the State of Alaska, with an approved COVID-19 Mitigation Plan in place, because of the high-quality blood tests that we offer from the top-ranking national laboratories, at nonprofit prices.

New Schedule is Published!
Today we are pleased to announce our new event schedule located on the main page of our website. First blood draws begin in August, and we will be adding new events as they become available. Please note, that especially in the Tanana Valley, we expect more events to be added after August 5th. So, please check back often. We are certain you will find something that works for your schedule!

Making an Appointment
At this time, we offer services by appointment only. It’s easy, convenient, and safe.
To make an appointment, please visit our main page. Next to an event, click “Make Appointment.” Pick a date and time that works for you and follow the prompts. Check your email for a confirmation message when you are done. You are now able to cancel or reschedule your appointment using the link in the confirmation email.
If you have any difficulties scheduling an appointment, please don’t hesitate to give us a call: (907) 278-0234 for Anchorage/Statewide, (907) 374-6853 in Fairbanks, or (907) 723-5100 in Juneau.
Please note that events may not be immediately available in all communities of our great state for logistical reasons. We will do everything we can to bring health fairs to your area, and we appreciate your patience. If you know of a local organization that has the resources to help us organize an event, please encourage them to give us a call.

Attention, Health Educators!
As always, there are no exhibitor fees at any of AHF events, and we welcome local agencies and nonprofits to come and educate on important health topics of your specialty. However, the number of spots for exhibitors have decreased significantly compared to our traditional Health Fairs before the Pandemic. We encourage all prospective exhibitors to check the availability of exhibitor space with our Program Directors. We will do our best to accommodate as many organizations as we can, without compromising the safety of our clients, volunteers, staff, and other exhibitors. Attention, Current & Prospective Volunteers!
AHF serves thousands of Alaskans each year. This is possible because of hundreds of medical and non-medical volunteers – Alaskans like you!
Whether you are new to AHF events, or an experienced volunteer, we are certain you will appreciate a series of short teleconferences we planned to review the various duties available at AHF events.
A general overview of our safety protocols is available here.
The vast majority of fall events are published in the schedule; however, there are still some that we may add in coming days and weeks. Please check our website every week or so for new events if you are looking for more volunteer opportunities. There is no need to fill out a new application form to add an event – simply give us a call, and we will revise your existing application. We appreciate your gift of time and life energy – AHF events would not be possible without you!
