screen-shot-2016-09-16-at-2-49-31-pmMost recently we have extended outreach to the Kenai Peninsula to increase awareness and importance of early detection screenings. Collaborating with the State of Alaska Breast and Cervical Health Check Program and Comprehensive Cancer Control Program. This collaboration is to also, promote a survey for women on the Kenai Peninsula, one of several regions in Alaska with low screening rates. The purpose is to learn why women are, or are not getting screened. The information will be used to determine how to connect women to services to decrease the number of late stage cancer incidences in the area. Information will support a strategic outreach effort promoting early detection and education. Help us help your community by sharing this survey link with your friends, businesses, and groups you know on the Kenai Peninsula. If you have questions, or need additional information about the Women’s Wellness program please call 644-9600.
