Why come to health fairs?
Alaska Health Fair, Inc. is a nonprofit organization delivering health fairs since 1980. AHF events offer a great opportunity to learn about important health topics in an informal setting. Attendees can receive free basic screenings, obtain information and resources, and have their questions answered by health, wellness, and safety professionals. Health fairs are also a great way to meet people in the community and connect with local organizations and resources.
Most importantly, AHF events feature comprehensive affordable blood tests. Obtaining blood screenings at AHF health fairs is a great way to get quick, accurate results at a fraction of the cost. Please note that although blood testing is a great tool that can help identify problems early, only your healthcare provider sees a complete picture of your health. AHF recommends that you share tests results with your doctor.
