We have survived yet another year! 2018 is almost over, and we are making all kinds of plans for the next season. We hope some of the changes will make you smile. We at Alaska Health fair wish you all a very merry and safe Holiday Season. One that brings you happiness and peace surrounded by those you wish.
This upcoming season, February to mid- May, is being scheduled and planned. Applications are being compiled and numerous preparations are underway. Soon, we will be in full swing. We cannot do it without all of you, our clients, volunteers, partners, and exhibitors! Each and every one of you makes a big difference.
With that said, I would like to let you all know about a couple of ways you can help us even without leaving your living room and at no cost to you.
Fred Meyer’s
Many of you have mentioned that you did not know about Fred Meyer’s community rewards program. You can help Alaska Health Fair, Inc. earn donations just by shopping with your Fred Meyer’s Rewards card! Fred Meyer’s donates millions of dollars each year to non-profits in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, based on where their customers tell them to give. Here is how the program Works.
Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer’s Rewards Card to a non-profit at fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. You can search for Alaska Health Fair by our name or by our non-profit number, 86455.
Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you will be helping Alaska health Fair earn a donation!
You still will earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates, just as you do today. The only cost to you is the few minutes it takes to sign up.
If you do not have a Rewards Card, they are available at the Customer Service desk of any Fred Meyer’s Store. For more Information, please visit fredmeyer.com/communityrewards.
Amazon
I bet many of you use Amazon to order items throughout the year. Amazon has a similar program called Amazon Smile. Amazon Smile – https://smile.amazon.com – is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on Amazon Smile, the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.
This program also costs you absolutely nothing but the time to sign up and choose Alaska Health Fair as your charity once a year. Here’s how to sign up:
1. Visit smile.amazon.com
2. Sign in with your Amazon.com credentials
3. Choose a charitable organization to receive donations, or search for and select Alaska Health Fair – tax ID 92-0118421.
4. Start shopping!
5. Add a bookmark for smile.amazon.com to make it even easier to return and start your shopping at Amazon Smile
