    Kidney disease is one of the top ten causes of death in Alaska and it is usually preventable.  Learn about the two major causes of kidney disease, the tests to screen for kidney disease and how to protect your kidneys so they last a lifetime.
  • April 13, noon to 12:45pm – All About Blood Pressure:  Know Your Numbers
    Uncontrolled high blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke.  One in three people have high blood pressure and 30% are unaware they have it.   Learn about high blood pressure, what the numbers mean, the risk factors for high blood pressure, symptoms, dangers of uncontrolled high blood pressure and strategies to prevent or lower high blood pressure.
