We were wonderfully surprised and so immensely grateful for the generosity shown this week by one of our sponsors Apollo Medi-Trans by Guardian Flight and Dr. Eric Stirling for their large donation of medical supplies to our 501(c)(3) health agency.

Our non-profit literally runs on a dime, along with the hours our dedicated volunteers contribute to keep the “wheels rolling”. We received a large number of blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, pulse oximeters, gloves, gauze & other materials to support Our Mission: Promote statewide health education and preventative screenings; Our Vision: Optimal health for all Alaskans and Our Core Purpose: Promote health and wellness and save lives. Without financial and material donors such as these, we would be unable to continue providing services to Alaska residents.

Apollo also permitted us to pass on materials we couldn’t specifically use in support of the health services we provide to residents statewide; for use at the local Community and Technical College Nursing Program. We also passed on cases of empty prescription bottles to Soroptomist International of Fairbanks for their Vials of Life emergency and medical information project.

Thank you for your strong support of all of these programs and know that these materials will be put to good use!
