Alaska Health Fair, Inc. (AHF) is expanding its Board of Directors and seeking candidates to apply for the following positions: a regular board member and a treasurer.
AHF is providing health education, screenings, and affordable blood tests since 1980 delivering 80 to 100 health fairs each year in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and many other communities. Our Mission: “Promote statewide health education and preventative screenings”; Vision: “Optimal health for all Alaskans”; and Core Purpose: “Promote health and wellness and save lives”.
AHF is looking for diverse and dynamic professionals who are passionate about serving the Alaska community. AHF Board is striving to achieve statewide representation and is seeking candidates of diverse personal and professional backgrounds.
Ideal candidates will:
• Become an ambassador of Alaska Health Fair
• Serve on committees as needed
• Prepare for and attend quarterly meetings, in person or via phone, usually on Mondays, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm
• Support AHF Mission, Vision and Core Purpose
