Alaska Health Fair, Inc. is offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity to join our dedicated team in Anchorage. As our part-time Associate Program Director, you can expect to earn a competitive hourly wage between $16 and $24 depending on experience.
πΏΒ The Role: Imagine being a cornerstone of life-changing health fairs that span the beautiful landscape of Alaska. As an Associate Program Director, you’ll work closely with Alaska communities and organizations to provide crucial health education and affordable blood screenings to fellow Alaskans. Your role will involve everything from managing vibrant teams of volunteers to forging meaningful partnerships with event stakeholders. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! The role is as dynamic as the state we serve, requiring frequent travel and a strong set of administrative and interpersonal skills.
π―Β What to Expect: Flexibility is key as our health fairs can occur on weekends and involve some heavy lifting. Reliable, insured transportation is essential, as is your ability to travel across the state. This person will be expected to handle around 10 health fairs a year, and the vast majority of them will be taking place in and around Anchorage area.
