This season, every Alaska Health Fair offers free prostate cancer screening blood tests. Know a man over 40 who hasn’t been tested? Tell him about this.

Prostate cancer is highly treatable when caught early – more than 99% of men diagnosed early will be alive five years later. But too many men skip screening because of cost, inconvenience, or simply not knowing where to go.

That’s why we’ve partnered with Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation and Alaska Men’s Run to remove those barriers completely. Free PSA testing is available at all Alaska Health Fair events this spring – while supplies last.

Getting Screened Is Easy

1. Show up – No appointment needed, just walk in
2. Complete a brief risk assessment – Takes just a few minutes at our education booth
3. Get your free blood draw – If screening is right for you, you’ll receive a coupon on the spot
4. Results mailed to you – Plus a free resource guide to help you understand your numbers
5. Personal follow-up if needed – A medical volunteer will contact you if anything needs attention and to answer any questions.

If you’ve had a good experience with Alaska Health Fair, spread the word. The men in your life – fathers, brothers, friends, coworkers – may not know this free screening exists. A quick conversation could make all the difference.

About This Partnership

This program is made possible through a generous donation of free PSA tests from [Aurora Integrated Oncology Foundation](https://aiofak.org), along with support from [Alaska Men’s Run](https://alaskamensrun.com). Together, we’re making early detection accessible across Alaska – from the North Slope to Southeast.

If your results need follow-up: Aurora’s Anchorage Radiation Oncology Center offers expedited appointments for individuals with abnormal PSA results who need prompt evaluation. Call (907) 562-2002.
