We invite Fairbanks area residents to participate in our annual “365 Days of Caring and 911 Remembrance” on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Join us and discover what good our local non-profits do in the local community on a year round basis. Our northern office is located at 725 26th Ave., Suite 201, Fairbanks, Alaska 99701 (on top of the Fairbanks Community Food Bank). Various agencies (such as the North Pole Police Department and Literacy Council) will be at our building packing FREE food boxes for distributing to those in need; with FREE books given out by the Literacy Council; FREE cookies available from the Farthest North Girl Scout Council; and FREE fruit smoothies along with a copy of our Fall 2018 Health Fair schedule given to visitors who take a tour of our Alaska Health Fair office on the 2nd floor (to discover the wide variety of services we provide local residents).

If you can’t make it by on 911, try to listen to I-Heart radio for the event’s live broadcast; then consider dropping by over the next 30 days to check out the good things our agencies are doing between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Check out Alaska Health Fair at www.alaskahealthfair.org to volunteer or exhibit at local events; check out our seasonal schedules, updates or newsletters, and to catch interesting health articles. We hope you’ve had a wonderful summer and are looking forward to seeing you this fall!

Non-profits listed above are all members of the United Way of the Tanana Valley.
