What is a health fair?
A health fair is an educational event designed to provide preventive testing and screening to people in the community or employees at work in conjunction with workplace wellness.
AHF is a nonprofit providing health fairs statewide since 1980. Our health fairs offer free education, screenings, and the most affordable comprehensive blood tests in Alaska.
In today’s environment of high healthcare costs, people of all walks of life take advantage of AHF services. Although the vast majority of our clients have health insurance, they come to AHF events to take advantage of the affordable comprehensive high-quality blood tests and caring customer service. In 2016 survey, over 85% of clients reported they gained a better understanding of healthier behaviors, over 87% indicated they had an improved quality of life as a result of attending a health fair, and over 99% marked they were satisfied with our health fairs and services.
You can have that improvement, too! Read more about the Alaska Health Fair difference. We look forward to seeing you at our next health fair!
