Alaska Health Fair, Inc. is proud to announce that we received $1,510.20 in donations from Sunrise Bagel and Espresso for their Sunrise Cares Charity of the Month during the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on May 22, 2018. Sunrise looks for local charities that help to make a difference in our community. Sunrise Cares helps twelve charities per year by raising 50 cents on every beverage purchased on a given day each month. Our special day was April 19, 2018. The May agency was Dance Theatre Fairbanks. Next month will be Meals on Wheels (North Star Council on Aging) on June 21, 2018. July is the non-profit where we previously leased – The Carol Brice Family Center with their day still to be decided, but Sunrise Cares is traditionally the 3rd Thursday of the month. All the agencies that Sunrise selects are great charities, so get out there and buy a beverage of some type on the given day and help to support local Fairbanks charities.
