Join the Alaska Health Fair Board of Directors
Help shape the future of Alaska Health Fair
Help Shape a Healthier Alaska
For decades, Alaska Health Fair has helped bring affordable health screenings, education, and preventive health resources to communities across our state.
Behind that work is a dedicated Board of Directors helping guide where we go next.
You don’t have to be a healthcare professional or have previous nonprofit board experience. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the health of Alaskans, we’d love to hear from you.
Why Serve on the Alaska Health Fair Board?
Serving on our Board is an opportunity to help strengthen an organization that reaches Alaskans in communities large and small across the state.
As a Board Member, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Help shape the future of preventive health services across Alaska.
- Bring your professional experience, ideas, and perspective to the table.
- Help strengthen partnerships within Alaska's communities.
- Advocate for affordable and accessible health screenings and education.
- Work alongside other community-minded leaders who care about Alaska.
- Help ensure Alaska Health Fair remains strong and sustainable for generations to come.
We Welcome Different Perspectives.
A strong board benefits from different backgrounds, experiences, communities, and ways of thinking.
We’re interested in hearing from people with experience in areas such as healthcare, public health, finance and accounting, business, law, human resources, marketing and communications, technology, education, fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and community service.
But please don’t let that list stop you from applying.
Most importantly, we’re looking for people who care about Alaska and believe in improving the health of Alaskans.
